Participant Statement

• Your participation in this survey is deeply appreciated and your individual answers are held in the strictest confidence.

 • The results of surveys are analyzed and reported to our clients in aggregate and your responses are not identifiable.

 • Responses are never looked at individually, only as a part of a group and your answers are never connected with anything that can identify you as a participant.

 • Your name, address or phone number is not saved with this survey so your anonymity is ensured.

 • If you choose to participate in a drawing for an iPod as a thank you for your participation, the contact information you provide is stored separately, used only for the one-time drawing, and is erased following the awarding of prizes.

 • You can of course choose to not participate in the award drawing, providing your opinions but no personal information.

 • If you are the winner if the iPod your name and contact information will be shared with the college, but only as verification of address and proof of prize award.

 • Any personal information you will provide will be erased at the end of this study, and will not be sold, traded, shared or used in any manner, other than research verification.

 • Your participation in this study will not be disclosed to the college, and your honest opinions and answers will have no impact on your future experiences with the college.

 General Privacy Statement

Interact Research respects the privacy of our respondents and college clients and is committed to maintaining the security of all data we collect and/or store. Protection of respondent confidentiality has been a hallmark of our history as a respected survey research company.

When you participate in a survey with Interact Research, your individual answers are held in the strictest confidence. The results of surveys are analyzed and reported to our clients in aggregate. Responses are never looked at individually, only as a part of a group and your answers are never connected with anything that can identify the individual participant, such as their name, address or phone number. Your participation and answers will not be disclosed to the college, and your honest opinions and answers will have no impact on your future experiences with the college.

When personal information is used to solicit participation in surveys (phone, mail, email, focus groups), this information is kept separately from the aggregated report data and is not shared with the client. This information would NOT be shared, sold, distributed or used for any purpose other than internal research validity checks to confirm the integrity of the research contact. Personal information is NEVER disclosed without the written consent of the participant in question. 

Use of Information for Incentives

Interact does not gather personal information on students, except for general demographic purposes and to award incentives to participants. Any participant could take part in a survey however, and choosing not to register for the inventive, bypass providing any specific contact information.

When a participant opts-in to the inventive drawing, their name is entered into a disposable database so that the participants are randomized and a winner selected at random. Interact Communications then asks the college representative to contact the student to confirm the information they provided to ensure safe and proper delivery of the drawing prizes.

The information used to award the iPods is not available for use by the host college, other than to verify unique participants and guarantee the integrity of the data. Upon the awarding of the survey, the database of opt-in participants is erased.
