National Media Preferences & Lifestyle Survey

As a marketing professional it is critical to know how to reach potential students and what type of media they prefer.

What television stations do they watch, or are they watching at all?

Do they prefer to receive the college schedule in hand or online?

Interact's 3rd annual survey dates confirmed!

Interact is launching its third National Media Preference survey in September 2008 !

For $3,500 your college can participate in a media preference and lifestyle survey of your students. Or, if you choose to participate over three years, Interact will survey your students annually and provide you the results for just $3,000 per year.

Survey dates:
Survey 1 starts   9/8/08 to 9/19/08
Survey 2 starts 9/15/08 to 9/26/08

• Television and cable preferences

• Radio station preferences
• Radio listening habits
• Print consumption
• Print versus web usage for critical college
materials (catalog, schedule, etc.)
• Email and instant messaging preferences
• Attitudes toward your college's website

How will the study
be conducted?

Your college will be responsible to promote the survey to your student population and direct them to the online login and password. Participating students will be entered in a drawing for an iPod or equivalent gift certificates to the iTunes store. Once the two-week survey period is over, your part of the process is complete.

You will receive a summary of your college's media preferences on CD to help plan your marketing for the next enrollment push. In February you will receive a summary of the National Media Preference Report on CD.
